Exclusive Bob
Dylan live album available at Starbucks
Starbucks has acquired the exclusive first rights to sell Bob Dylan’s album "Bob
Dylan: Live At The Gaslight 1962," an album of newly restored live recordings
taken from Dylan's performances at the New York cafe. The album consists of 10
tracks and will be available at Starbucks' locations in the US from August 30 on
as well as through Bob Dylan’s Website. Meanwhile, the Bob Dylan album "No
Direction Home: The Soundtrack," will also be out on August 30, including at
Starbucks’ locations. The two-disc album serves as the soundtrack to "No
Direction Home: Bob Dylan," a full-length biography on Dylan produced by Martin
Scorsese.
New Oasis single
titled The Importance Of Being Idle
Oasis have confirmed details of their new single “The Importance Of Being Idle.”
The new single will be released on August 22 and is the second to be lifted from
their current album “Don’t Believe The Truth.” The single will also feature two
brand new tracks, being “Pass Me Down The Wine” and “The Quiet Ones.”
New System Of A
Down single
System Of A Down's new album features eleven new tracks which according to the
band all can be released as a single. As radio programmers were already playing
"Question!" the choice for a next single was obvious for the band. It is not
known yet whether there are plans for a video or not. or whether System Of A
Down will release a third single from Mezmerize. Meanwhile, the album's second
part “Hypnotize” is planned for a late fall release. “Hypnotize” is already
recorded, mastered and therefore ready for release.
New Dandy
Warhols album set for September release date
The Dandy Warhols' new album "Odditorium Or Warlords Of Mars" will be released
on September 13. The 12-track album was produced by band member Courtney Taylor
and Tchad Blake. First single off the album will be track "Smoke It." In late
July, the Dandie Warhols are planning both a fall US tour and a separate
acoustic "suitcase tour." |
